spring in the north country.......

Now I know that we aren't quite as north as some of you, but some days it feels like we're pretty far up there! This was our colourful, blue-sky yard a few days ago. We even had kids running through the sprinkler and popcicles sitting on the grass.
Then this is what we woke up to yesterday, and through out the course of the day we had our share of snow, rain, hail, sleet, and even a bit of sun. Lovely June weather, isn't it? :)

Each one of my girls cried when they looked out the window after they got up - and they all got up at different times. It was truly depressing -so glad the snow didn't stick around.

Your poor tomato plants. I hope they spring up with the nicer weather coming up. Cross our fingers. Doesn't feel like it is June yet to me.

are those lilac trees? They're beautiful!!! So sorry for the snowy weather. It's always sad to break out the sandals and popsicles and then have to find your socks again... love you!

Yes, they're lilacs, aren't they great? I've ALWAYS wanted lilacs and last year I was so excited, but they didn't bloom at all! Not one single bloom! So this year I'm really enjoying them, every time I go outside I breathe in that yummy smell! It's heavenly!
