Violin Girl 2009.......

We had a wonderful day yesterday listening to our little violin girl perform in the local Suzuki festival. She received a great adjudication and then had fun playing with 5 other little girls in a group class. Our clinician was an amazing teacher visiting from Saskatoon and he was so positive with all the kids. If you remember last year's festival performance, you'll see a few differences and changes, but she still has the same relaxed approach, even with the little glitches. She told me she was a bit nervous, but we think she was awfully brave in getting up there and playing out with her big, confident sound!

Afterwards we celebrated with dinner out at a sushi restaurant, as she requested!

Great Job!!! I can't believe how calm and collected she was. I was having "Kiwanis feeling"flashbacks watching her. That is not an easy thing to do. So great!!! Yeah Ember and yeah for her great teacher and family.

She requested sushi? Thats quite a sophisticated palate for such a little thing. Good for you to introduce it to her. I loved the clip, she's good!
